Lincoln Normal School is the original name of the school. This historic campus was grounds to one of the first schools established for black children after the civil war.

Unwavering character, faith, and unparalleled dedication to education for all were the driving forces that built not only the Lincoln Normal Campus but also was the birthplace for higher learning, Alabama State University.

The Lincoln Auditorium lends itself to many ceremonious and memorable occasions.

The Auditorium is the perfect location for indoor concerts or recitals. You have the option to take your concert outside and utilize the campus pavilion and lawn area for more freedom and to enjoy nature. Children love our grounds we have nice accommodations for family reunion activities.
